Joseph Sabato

Joseph Sabato, 88, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died May 22, 2021. He was born September 24, 1932 in Port Chester to the late Daniel and Laura Grosso Sabato. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1951.  Joseph was married July 14, 1957 to Theresa Rappoccio at Holy Rosary Church. Mrs. Sabato died October 14, 2016.  He was a tool maker for the R.B.&W. Co. in Port Chester. He then was a postal worker for the United States Post Office in Port Chester and retired in 1983.  Joseph was an avid gardener.  He is survived by his beloved children Joseph Sabato, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of New Rochelle, NY and Theresa Ferraro and husband John of Port Chester, NY, brothers Nicholas Sabato (Maryann) and Carl Sabato both of Port Chester, grandchildren John Ferraro, Joseph Ferraro, Danielle Connolly, Matthew Sabato, Joseph W. Sabato, Noah Sabato and Daniel "DJ" Sabato, great grandchildren Kaitlyn Ferraro, Joseph Ferraro, Julianna Connolly, Declan Connolly and Joseph S. Ferraro. Besides his wife he was predeceased by his son Daniel Sabato.  Funeral services will be private.  Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation www.komen.org
