Josephine Anne (Lomiento) Merritt

Josephine Lomiento Merritt, 72, a resident of White Plains and formerly of Port Chester died May 28, 2019. She was born February 6, 1947 in Port Chester, NY to the late Michael and Mary Vaccarro Lomiento.  She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1964.  Josephine was the widow of Bruce Merritt who died June 18, 2006.  She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.  She was retired from Allstate Insurance Company as a dispatcher/processor.  Josephine is survived by her devoted sons, Bruce Merritt of White Plains, NY, Michael Merritt and wife Christine of Yonkers, NY and Scott Merritt and wife Erica of Pleasantville, NY, grandchildren Luke Merritt, Antonino Merritt, Michelina Merritt and Freddie Nicodemus.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother Joseph Carlucci.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday May 31, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday June 1, 2019 at Saint Paul's Catholic Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. Interment is private
