Joy (Kirby) Kundmueller

Joy Kundmueller went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2026. Joy and her loving husband George Kundmueller moved to Rye Brook in 1981 after having lived in Yonkers NY for many years. Born in Winchester, England, Joy immigrated to the United States in 1946 at age 20.

She married her late husband George later that year. She worked at Yonkers Raceway and then worked for ATT telephone as an operator for over 20 years. Joy was a Westchester County honored member of the Rye Brook
Senior Citizens and a long-time parishioner of Corpus Cristi Church in Port Chester.
Her family included loving son Randolph, grandchildren Kristofer and Kathryn Joy and son Kevin and his wife Maria
Grandchildren Kelly, Devan and Justine, Great Grandchildren Taylor, Nicholas, Liam and Madelyn,

Visitation will be 3-6PM on Friday March 6, 2026 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Saturday March 7, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port CHester, NY. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery Hastings on Hudson, NY
