Katherine LaBella

Katherine LaBella, 96, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died September 23, 2025. She was born December 16, 1928 in Greenwich, Ct to the late Rocco and Mae Mecca Furano.  Katherine was married on January 12, 1947 at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester to Paul W. LaBella, Sr., Mr. LaBella died December 4, 2001.  Mrs. LaBella was a retired office clerk for the Village of Port Chester.  She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.

Katherine loved spending time on the water and loved cooking Sunday dinner for her children and grandchildren and hosting Christmas Eve dinner and Easter breakfast for her extended family.

She is survived by her devoted children, Thomas LaBella, Sr. and his wife Lynn, Daniel LaBella and Rosemary LaBella, Joseph LaBella and wife Judy, daughter in law Donna LaBella, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul W. LaBella, Sr, son Paul LaBella, Jr., grandson Thomas LaBella, Jr., parents Rocco and Mae Furano, Sr., siblings Mary Pankow, Lucille Kahn, Rocco Furano, Jr. and Ann Furano.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday September 25, 2025 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Friday September 26, 2025 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
