Linda (Nethercott) DeBell

Linda Nethercott DeBell, 79, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died January 31, 2022. She was born November 4, 1942 in Port Chester to the late Robert and Anne Curtis Nethercott. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1960. Linda was married July 26, 1969 to Austin J. "Audie" DeBell in Port Chester. She was a manager for Verizon in White Plains, NY until her retirement.  Linda was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was also a eucharistict minister and a lector at church.  Linda is survived by her devoted husband Austin J. "Audie" DeBell, Sr. of Port Chester, NY.,  her beloved daughter Dineen LaDore and her husband Scott of Port Chester, NY., stepson Austin J. DeBell, Jr. of Johnstown, NY., grandchildren Francesca LaDore, Gavin LaDore and Austin J. DeBell, III and his wife Ashley, great grandson, Austin J. DeBell, IV., brothers Raymond Nethercott and his wife Loretta of Rye Brook, NY., Lawrence Nethercott of Port Chester, NY., John Nethercott and his wife Elaine of Somers, NY., sisters Anne Ravenda of Woodbury, CT., Janet Degraw of Gresham, OR., and Regina Nethercott of Galloway, NJ., She was predeceased by her son Robert DeBell in 2019, her daughter Audra DeBell, and brothers Richard and Thomas Nethercott.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christain Burial will be 10AM on Thursday February 3, 2022 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment is private. Memorial donations in memory of Linda may be made to the Saint Jude's Children's Hospital Memphis, TN.
