Lois (Wanglund) Badaracco

Lois Badaracco, 93, a resident of Longs, SC died peacefully November 2, 2022. She was born on September 14, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to her parents the late Albert and Esther Wanglund.

Lois grew up in Brooklyn, New York. On September 20th 1953 she married John Badaracco, the love of her life. They settled in Wappingers Falls, New York, where Lois was a homemaker devoted to her children and family. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, needlepointing, playing the slot machines, and golfing with her husband. She was a loving grandmother who was always happy to spend time playing games with her grandchildren. In her later years, she moved to South Carolina to be closer to her son, Richard, and daughter in law, Cyndi.

Lois is survived by her sons Richard Badaracco of Longs, SC., and Robert Badaracco and his wife Marianne Badaracco of Webster, NY; brother Robert Wanglund of Poughkeepsie, NY; her five grandchildren, Celeste Franco (Rodrigo), Christa Devries (RJ), Steven Badaracco (Liliana), Sara Badaracco, and Joseph Badaracco; two great grandchildren, William and Vincent Devries; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her loving husband John Badaracco, her mother and father, her brothers and sister Albert, Stanley, Richard and Margie, her sister in law Irene Wanglund, and her daughter in law Cyndi
