Lourdes (Manalac) Garcia

Lourdes Manalac Garcia, 79, a former resident of Rye, NY and Port Chester, NY died unexpectedly on March 17, 2024 in the Philippines. She was born February 3, 1945 to the late Salvador and Isabel Manalac.  She was raised and educated in the Philippines where she received her nursing degree. After immigrating  to the United States Mrs. Garcia was a nurse at United Hospital in Port Chester.  She then became the owner and operator of Rye Ambulette Service in Rye, NY.

She is survived by her beloved husband Teresito Garcia of Florida and her devoted children, Jeffrey Garcia and his wife Lindsey of Mamaroneck, NY., Jason Garcia of Mamaroneck, NY., and Jennifer Garcia of Florida and grandson Greyson Garcia of Florida. siblings, Nicolas Manalac Sr. of Philippines, Catalina Manalac of Florida, Maria Lapid of Harrison, NY and Dorothea Manalac of California.  She is predeceased by her brothers Alfredo Manalac and Rudolfo Manalac.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Wednesday March 27, 2024 from 4-7:30PM at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A funeral service will be held at 7:30PM at the funeral home.
