Lowell H Johnson

Lowell H. Johnson, 80, a resident of Port Chester, NY died March 19, 2022 He was born May 11, 1941 in Cedarhurst, LI, NY to the late Gustave and Margaret Wallin Johnson. He graduated from Port Chester High School and from Lafayette College. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a Lieutenant Junior Grade. He received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with Foreign Decoration. Mr. Johnson was a retired Mechanical Engineer for Metro North in New York City.  He was married to Daisy Luna on May 28, 2017 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, NY.  He was an avid ballroom dancer with his wife. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, NY.  He is survived and loved by his wife Daisy and his stepsons, 6 grandchildren, nieces, Amy Barett of Colorado and Abby Hoffman of Wappingers Falls, NY beloved grand nieces Delia and Tallie  and cousins Jill Poli and Avis Maccarini of Pawling, NY, 
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday March 21, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Funeral Service will be 10:30AM on Tuesday March 22, 2022 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church 761 King St. Rye Brook, NY. Interment to follow at Greenfield Cemetery Uniondale, NY.
