Lucia Langworth, 84, passed away on April 13th, 2024 at her home in Port Chester. She was born on June 30th, 1939 to the late Alfred and Jane Lenoci. Lucia was raised and educated in Port Chester, graduated from Rye high school and later moved back to her Port Chester childhood home .
She married Joseph Louis Langworth on May 1st, 1960 at Corpus Christi Church, where she was a life-long parishioner and volunteer. A gifted artist, Lucia first worked as an assistant with an architectural firm, but will be most remembered as a long-time teacher’s aide at King Street and Port Chester Middle School.
In addition to her beloved husband of 63 years, Lucia is survived by her children Janice and husband Gary Barnes,
Debra and husband John Cotte, Joe Langworth and husband Jim Jones and Michael Langworth and wife Joanne. She had five grandchildren Samantha McGovern, Sarah Couto, Rebecca LaBella, Christina and J.D Cotte, niece and nephew Diana and Steven Scarcia, three great-grandchildren and many beloved cousins. She was pre-deceased by her brother Alfred (Butch) Lenoci and wife Donna.
Visitation will be 9:30am-11:30am on Thursday April 18, 2024 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am at the funeral home. Entombment Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
