Marcia Irene Piñateli Faggiani

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marcia Irene Piñateli Faggiani, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of eighty-six.  She was born in Lima, Peru.

Marcia was predeceased by her parents Carolina (née Faggiani) and Francisco Victor Campodonico, her brother Victor and her older son Edwin.  Marcia is survived by her siblings: Jorge, Liliana, and Jose (with wife Tina); her children: Fabio (with wife Sara), and Brian; her grand-children: Melissa (with children Sofia, Arianna, Camila and Luca), Valeria (with daughter Natalia), Karolina, Paoli, and Christian; her nieces and nephews: Frank (daughter, Emily), Kevin (daughters Juliana and Carolina), and Caitlyn (with husband Andrew, and children Andrew and Delaney).

During the latter part of her life, Marcia worked as a taxi driver in Port Chester, NY.  It offered her the opportunity to be her own boss and the flexibility to travel back to her native Peru to celebrate her birthday in the warmth of Summer.  She also loved to dance salsa, merengue, and musica criolla from Peru.  Lastly, Marcia enjoyed very much when the family got together for the holidays, eating Peruvian food as well as making it. She was a very good cook. 

Marcia will be missed!!!
