Margaret Ann Scinto, known to her family as Peggy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1949, to the late Rocco and Kathryn Marino, and was a lifetime resident of Port Chester, NY.
Peggy was energetic, kind and funny, extremely generous and warm-hearted. Her gentle, loving spirit and her kind smile were cherished by her family and she will be fiercely, deeply missed.
She was raised in Port Chester and was employed for over thirty years by Pitney Bowes in Stamford, CT, where she won awards for her work and long service.
Peggy leaves behind a legacy of love, family, home and treasured memories. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses, and was a talented artist. She also enjoyed reading and gardening, growing beautiful flowers, and dressing fashionably. And wherever there was music, she would be dancing.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were touched by her rare, remarkable kindness and her beautiful, generous, loving spirit.
She is survived by her two sisters, Janice (Marino) O’Brien and Nancy (Marino) Thompson, and two brothers, Mark Marino and Matthew Marino. She is also survived by her daughter, Lisa Bellantoni, who could never have asked for a better mother in a million years, and who will miss and cherish her always.
