Maria Dolores (Catanzaro) Coates

Maria Dolores (Catanzaro) Coates, 65, a resident of Boca Raton, Fl., and formerly of Port Chester, NY died April 7, 2023. She was born January 5, 1958 in Port Chester, NY to Dolores Faryniasz Catanzaro and the late Louis Catanzaro. Maria was raised and educated in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1976.  She was married December 13, 1991 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester to Byron Coates.  Maria was a devoted wife and mother.  She is survived by her devoted husband Byron Coates of Boca Raton, Fl., her beloved children son, Taylor Coates of New York City, NY and daughter Rachael Coates of Boston, MA., Mother Dolores Catanzaro of Stamford, CT., sister Lisa Procaccini and husband Declan of Sandy Hook, CT., brothers Michael Catanzaro and wife Allyson of Naples, FL., James Catanzaro and wife Kelly of Waxhaw, NC., and William Catanzaro of Stamford, CT., Besides her father she was predeceased by her brother Louis Catanzaro.

A Memorial gathering will be held from 2-5PM on Friday April 21, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Prayer service will be held at 4:30PM at the funeral home. Interment is private.
