Maria E Cortes

Maria E. Cortes, 74, a resident of Port Chester, NY passed away February 3, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  She was born August 3, 1947 in San Jose, Costa Rica.  Mrs. Cortes immigrated in 1991 with her family to the United States.  She was a housekeeper for the Kovner family of Greenwich, CT. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years of marriage,  Jose A. Cortes of Port Chester, NY., her devoted children Greivin Cortes of Mexico, Jessica M. Vetrano of Highland, NY., and Andrey Cortes of Stamford, CT., Her grandchildren Federico Cortes, Daniel Cortes, Maria Fernanda Cortes and Ayla Cortes.  A memorial gathering will be held 4-8PM on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  A religious  service will be held 6:00PM with a musical celebration to follow at 6:30PM.
