Maria (Gadomski) Pokornicka

Maria Pokornicka, 76, a resident of Port Chester, NY, died January 6, 2026. She was born May 20, 1949 in Poland to the late Aleksander and Jadwiga Prajs Gadomski.  She was raised and educated in Poland.  Maria immigrated to the United States in 1992 with her family and settled in Port Chester. Maria was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester and previously a parishioner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester.

Maria is survived by her beloved husband Czeslaw Pokornicki of Port Chester, NY., her devoted children Janusz Pokornicki and his wife Agnieszka of Valley Cottage, NY., Grzegorz Pokornicki and his wife Dorota of Port Chester, NY and Alina Bulak and her husband Christopher of Poland. Dear grandchildren Patrick Bulak, Andrew Pokornicki, Brian Pokornicki, Daniel Pokornicki, Michael Pokornicki and Gabriel Pokornicki.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday January 12, 2026 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Tuesday January 13, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery North St. Rye, NY
