Maria (Sulkowski) Wojtyna
Obituary
Maria Wojtyna, 92, a longtime resident of Port Chester died April 28, 2023. She was born December 24, 1930 in Boleslawiec, Poland to the late Matthew and Domicela Sulkowski. Maria was raised and educated in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1960. She was married September 14, 1963 to Edward Wojtyna. Mr. Wojtyna died January 27, 2001. Maria was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a parishioner of the Parish of Saint John Bosco in Port Chester and previously a longtime member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester before its closing.
Maria is survived by her beloved children daughter Sophie Krol and her husband William of Port Chester, NY., son Edward J Wojtyna and his wife Autumn of Clarksville, TN., grandson Edward Wojtyna and great granddaughter Everly Wojtyna both of Clarksville, TN., niece Diane Solkowski of Milford, Ct., and nephew Malcolm Kurdziel of Greenwich, Ct. and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Thursday May 4, 2023 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY . Interment to follow at SAint Mary's Cemetery North St. Greenwich, Ct.
