Marion Pavone, 91, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died December 15, 2025. She was born March 19, 1934 in Port Chester to the late Antonio and Liberata Ciafardo Angiolillo. Marion was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1952. She was married to Joseph Pavone on June 3, 1956 at the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester, NY, Mr. Pavone died December 28, 2022.
Marion was a bookkeeper for Direct Media in Greenwich, Ct. She previously worked for E J Korvettes Department store in Port Chester. Marion was an active and devoted parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church. She was active with the Columbiettes, Friends of Don Bosco, “Moms of Priests,” Salesian Cooperators, Corpus Christi Respect Life Committee, volunteered for Priests for Life and the Port Chester Senior Center.
She was known and loved by many prominent Church and prolife leaders around the world (including Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa) through her association with Priests for Life and her many travels, including to Australia and to the Vatican.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Father Frank Pavone of Titusville, Fl., Joseph Pavone of Rye Brook, NY, and their cousins. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Angiolillo and John Ninno and sisters Angie Notargiacomo and Anne Calabrese, and beloved nephews Anthony Ninno and Richard Notargiacomo.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday December 19, 2025 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday December 20, 2025 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
