Mary M (O'Donovan) O'Donoghue

Mary M. O'Donoghue, 87, a longtime resident of Rye Brook, NY died October 31, 2022. She was born February 4, 1935 in Port Chester, NY to the late John and Nora Carney O'Donovan. She was raised in Rye, NY and graduated from Resurrection Academy for Girls in Rye, NY in 1953.  Mary was married on October 6, 1962 to Daniel O'Donoghue at Church of the Resurrection. Mr. O'Donoghue died in 2010. She was a registrar for United Hospital in Port Chester for 30 years and retired in 2004.  Mary was a member of the Rye Brook Seniors, the Port Chester Irish American Association. and a member of the Seton Circle at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester.  She is survived by her beloved children John O'Donoghue of Randolph, NJ., Mary Ellen O'Donoghue of Rye, NY. and Lori Ann O'Donoghue of Rye Brook, NY. Also surviving are her grandcats Charlie and Sox.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother John O'Donovan.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday November 3, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM on Friday November 4, 2022 ar Church of The Resurrection 910 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY 10580. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
