Mary Ann Bucci Obituary

Mary Ann Bucci, 90, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on February 23, 1935, in Port Chester to the late Carmine and Mary (Marzano) Giordano. Mary Ann was raised and educated in Port Chester, and was a proud graduate of Port Chester High School, Class of 1953.

On October 30, 1955, she married Don Bucci at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester. They shared 47 years of loving marriage until his passing on December 21, 2002.

Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lovingly dedicated her life to her family and home. Earlier in her career, she worked in the Physical Therapy Department at United Hospital. She was also a faithful and active parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester, where she remained deeply involved throughout her life. Mary Ann also found great joy in playing card games, board games, playing Bingo with her friends at the Senior Center, as well as spending time with the women of the Seton Circle. 

Mary Ann is survived by her beloved children: Anthony Bucci and his wife Debbie of Port Chester, NY; Don Bucci and his wife Jo Ann of Rye Brook, NY; and John Bucci and his wife Lisa of Stamford, CT; as well as her loving son-in-law Frank Santoro of Rye Brook, NY, husband of her late daughter, Lee Ann Santoro. She was the cherished grandmother of Samantha Bucci, Alexandra Bucci, John Bucci, Janine Bucci Hannon, Joseph Bucci and his wife Gioia, Michael Bucci, Christopher Bucci, Julia Bucci, Alyssa Bucci, Frank Santoro and his fiancée Jen, and Michael Santoro. She is also survived by her adored great-grandchildren Ryan Hannon, Ava Hannon, Joseph Bucci, Serafina Bucci, Sophia Santoro, and Guilianna Burke. Mary Ann is also survived by her brother Carmen and his wife Cindy, as well as her sister in law, Jeannette, wife of her pre-deceased  husband Anthony, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Mary Ann was predeceased by her loving daughter, Lee Ann Santoro, in 2022.

Mary Ann will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her gentle spirit, and the deep love she shared with her family. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 260 Westchester Avenue, Port Chester, NY.

Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Rye
