Maryann Forta Obituary

Maryann Forta, 77, a longtime resident of Rye Brook, NY died November 21, 2025. She was born April 27, 1948 in New Cannan, Ct. to the late Benedetto and Anna Luciano Socci.  She was raised and educated in Norwalk, Ct. and attended Brian McMahon High School in Norwalk, Ct.

Maryann was married on October 5, 1974 to Angelo Forta at Saint Joseph's Church in Norwalk, Ct.  She was a homemaker and a beloved wife and mother.  Maryann was a devoted parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester, NY.  She was also a member of the Rye Brook Senior Citizens as well as Port Chester Seniors.

She is survived by her loving husband Angelo Forta of Rye Brook, NY and dear daughter Danielle Forta Colantoino and her husband Donato of Harrison, NY., brother Joseph Socci and his wife Tisha of Stratford, Ct., and sister Theresa Mercer of Norwalk, Ct.  She was predeceased by her brother Vincent Socci and sister Rosemary Alpert.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday November 25, 2025 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will 10AM on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY., Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
