Maura Hernandez

Maura L. Hernandez, 69, a resident of Stamford, CT died November 16, 2025. She was born January 15, 1956 in Guatemala to Maria Estrada and the late Ernesto Hernandez.  She was raised and educated in Guatemala and immigrated to the United States in 1987.   Ms. Hernandez was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her mother Maria Estrada, husband Arnoldo Sical of Stamford, CT, daughter Dina Herrera and her husband Juan Carlos Herrera of Stamford, CT, grandchildren Joshua and Abigail Herrera both of Stamford, CT, brothers and sisters Julio Hernandez of Guatemala, Maria Monterroso of Stamford CT, Blanca Arevalo of Guatemala, Ernesto Hernandez of Port Chester, NY and Otoniel Hernandez of Stamford, CT. 

She was also predeceased by her sister Adela Hernandez.

A funeral service will be held from 6PM to 10PM on Friday, November 21st, 2025 at Iglesia Misionera "El Olivar" Church 510 Summit Avenue Bridgeport, CT.

Interment will be at 10AM on Saturday November 22, 2025 at Greenwood Union Cemetery North St. Rye, NY.
