Patrick D. Muto, 92, a resident of Greenwich, CT., passed away peacefully on August 10, 2023. He was born October 17, 1930 in New Rochelle, NY to the late Patsy and Teresa Muto. He was raised and educated in New Rochelle. Pat served in the United States Navy from 1947 to 1951 and was a seaman apprentice aboard the USS Hyman in the Mediterranean Sea. He was married on April 27, 1956 to the love of his life, Frances Paulette in Harrison, NY. Mrs. Muto died November 29, 2017. Pat worked for United Parcel Service based out of Elmsford, NY for 32 years. He loved working outside in his yard, a good meal and all things “US Navy.” He is survived by his beloved daughter Paulette Caroleo and her husband Dominick of Miller Place, NY., and dear grandson Jordan Caroleo and many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his brother Joseph Muto and sisters Louise Ondrey, Marie Muto, Barbara Muto and Carol Lightbody.
Visitation will be 3-7PM on Monday August 14, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc., Port Chester, NY. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at Greenwood Union Cemetery, North St., Rye, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mr. Muto may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
