Peter Alfano, Sr.

Peter Alfano, Sr., 85, a resident of Rye Brook, NY died November 9, 2020. He was born September 1, 1935 in San Fili, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Davide and Luisa Blasi Alfano. He was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1954. Mr. Alfano was married to Deidra Klingenberg on January 20, 1963 in Yonkers, NY.  He was a self employed barber owning Embassy Barber Shop on North Main St. in Port Chester and was also a retired employee of SUNY Purchase.  Peter was a parishioner of The Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.  He is survived by his beloved wife Deidra Alfano of Rye Brook, NY, his devoted daughters Laura Alfano of Malibu, CA. and Christina Koenig of Stratford, CT, grandchildren Alexandra Cammarota, Max Cammarota, Madison Cammarota, Laura Koenig and Sydney Koenig, brother Frank Alfano of Naples, FL. and sisters Christina Folino of Port Chester, NY and Concetta Patafio of West Palm Beach, FL.  He was predeceased by his son Peter Alfano, Jr. on June 9, 2007. Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic all funeral services are private.
