Philip Paoletti Obituary

Philip P. Paoletti, 84, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on June 3, 1940, to the late Anthony and Antoinette Insana Paoletti, Philip spent his entire life in the town he cherished.

Philip was a hardworking and skilled heavy equipment operator, dedicating many years of service as a proud member of Local #478 of the Operating Engineers Union in Hamden, CT. He was well-respected by his colleagues and known for his commitment to his craft.

Beyond his work, Philip found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid outdoorsman, often taking long walks to enjoy the beauty of nature. However, his greatest source of happiness was his family. Philip deeply loved all his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, and they, in turn, brought immense joy to his life. He relished every opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments, share their stories, and offer his support and encouragement. His face would light up at the mere mention of their names, and his pride in them was boundless.

Philip is survived by his beloved sister, Mary Larobina, of Stamford, CT, and his large and loving extended family. He was predeceased by his brothers, Salvatore Pauletti and John Pauletti, and his sisters, Theresa Stephansen, Mamie Ceraso, and Frances Muto.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Philip’s life during visitation hours on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 4-8 PM at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester, NY. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 9:45 AM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, NY.

Philip’s kindness, love of family, and the joy he found in the lives of his loved ones will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
