Rachel (Punturiero) Luchetta

Rachel Luchetta, 92, a lifelong  resident of Port Chester died peacefully on September 29, 2023.
She was born on January 28, 1931 in Port Chester to Santo Punturiero and Katherine Afflitto Punturiero who predeceased her. She was married on September 3, 1950 to Gino Luchetta who predeceased her in 2011.
She retired after working numerous years at Bloomingdales.
Mrs. Luchetta was a devoted parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends having a nice home brewed cup of coffee and piece of cake. She loved to laugh, tell stories and was always lighthearted with a beautiful smile on her face. In her later years, she enjoyed time with her friends at the Senior Center having lunch, chatting and playing bingo.
Mrs. Luchetta is survived by her loving son Enrico Luchetta and his wife Marianne, daughter Benedetta D’Ascoli and husband Paul, grandchildren Stephanie Luchetta (Fred Ebenau) and Lyla Shaughnessy (Collin Brooking), Paul D’Ascoli, Michael D’Ascoli, Jonathan D’Ascoli and Christopher D’Ascoli and great grandchildren Leonardo and Lena Rose Ebenau and Nova Brooking, Nicole, Danielle, Paul, Madelyn, Elijah, and Blakely D’Ascoli and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sister's in law Angelo Punturiero (Eleanor), Joseph Punturiero (Theresa) and Frank Punturiero (Caterina).
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday October 2, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Tuesday  October 3, 2023 at Saint Paul RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. 06831
Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
