Reynaldo Sanchez, Jr., 37, a resident of Miramar, Fl. and formerly of Yorktown Heights, NY died unexpectedly October 31, 2024. He was born September 25, 1987 in the Dominican Republic to Reynaldo and Mariana Fernandez Sanchez. He was raised and educated in Yorktown Heights and graduated from the high school in 2006. He and his brothers were staples at their family’s grocery store (Shop Smart) of 37 years in Port Chester, NY. Reynaldo was married in August 2012 at Saint Patrick's Church to Yahaira Sanchez. He was the owner of Rey's Unisex Salon in North Miami, FL. He was also a past member of the Harry Howard Hook and Ladder Co. of the Port Chester Volunteer Fire Department.
Rey Jr aka “Reycito” grew up in Yorktown Heights, NY but was influenced and loved by every community that he was a part of. Anyone who knew Reycito knows that you could place him anywhere in the world and would be treated like family. You could define him as a man of many talents. He was always open to learning something new, and he was never afraid of taking on the task at hand. If we needed help with anything, we all knew we could call him as long as we provided the beers and cigars. Whoever had the privilege of being around Reycito knows that he was quiet and kind, yet he always carried a smirk on his face and always smiled quietly. Reycito was a dog lover, he enjoyed training his dogs and working on cars. He was also the best barber for many people. He loved his son a lot and his favorite thing to do was to facetime multiple times a day to show everyone his baby. Reycito will forever be remembered with his kindheartedness, generosity and an unforgettable spirit.
