Richard Hudson, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY passed away suddenly on February 28, 2021. He was 51 years old. Richie graduated from Port Chester High School, and he was a Master Carpenter at Manhattanville College for many years. The mutual respect between Rich and his colleagues was immeasurable. Throughout the years, the college has made an incredible impact on Rich and his family. He was a hard worker who enjoyed gardening and sports. He especially enjoyed coaching, as well as summer vacations with his family in Wildwood, NJ. He was born in January 1970 to his late father, William “Bunny” Hudson and his mother, Vita Cammarota Hudson. He was a loving husband to his wife, Elizabeth and a devoted father to his two children, Faith and Christopher who he adored more than anything in this world. They were the center of his universe and they brought him tremendous joy. He was also a true companion and friend to his dog, Emmitt, as well as his pre-deceased canine buddy, Max. Richie was witty, well-liked, and respected in the community and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. Richie is also survived by his brothers, Daniel and wife Karen, William, Michael and wife Doreen, Steven and wife Stephanie, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Daniel and Connie Cammarota and Thomas and Mary Hudson.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Wednesday March 3, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester Street Port Chester, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Thursday March 4, 2021 at Church of the Resurrection 910 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY
