Robert "Tee" Thalheimer

Robert "Tee" Thalheimer, 76, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY died August 11, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born August 27, 1946 in Port Chester to the late Stephen and Hilda Bauer Thalheimer. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1964.

“Tee” was married on October 16, 1966 to Concettina Gioffre at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester, NY.

 He was the owner and operator of Tee's Service Station on Putnam Ave. in Port Chester for 40 years.  He started his career as a carpenter for Byram Builders and then worked for Consolidated Diesel & Engines in Old Greenwich, CT. as a diesel mechanic.

"Tee" was a 60 year member of Reliance Engine & Hose Co. #1 of the Port Chester Volunteer Fire Department. He was a past captain of his company. “Tee” was the Chief Engineer of the fire department from 1984 to 1986.

He was also a member of the Port Chester Past Chiefs Association, Westchester County Past Chiefs Association, The Westchester County Volunteer Firemen's Association and FASNY New York State Firemen's Association. 

 “Tee” was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose entire world evolved around his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Connie Thalheimer of Port Chester, NY., his children Heidi Thalheimer Pastore and her husband Tom of Riverside, CT., and Robert J. Thaheimer and his wife Oni of Port Chester, NY., seven dear grandchildren, Jenna Pastore, Tommy Pastore, Jorja Pastore, Johnna Pastore, RJ Thalheimer, Reina Thalheimer, and Jack Thalheimer. “Tee” is also survived by his brother Frank Thalheimer of Sherman, Ct., He was predeceased by his brother Edward Thalheimer.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon on Wednesday August 16, 2023 at Saint Paul Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, Ct. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY.
