Rocco J. (Rocky) Lovallo, a lifelong resident of Port Chester passed to eternal life surrounded by his loving family on September 28, 2019. He was born on June 17,1944 to Carmel Grosse and Rocco D. Lovallo who predeceased him. Rocky was raised and educated locally, graduating from Port Chester High School in 1962 after which he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Although he studied and worked in accounting, his love of cars brought him to the automotive industry where he worked for Imported Car Service, Firestone and County Tire. He was a proud member of the Mad Dog Crew. Most recently, he “worked” for the Harrison Department of Recreation. Rocky is survived by his caring siblings, Vita Lovallo Sileo, Joseph Lovallo and his wife Roseanne, Maria Lovallo Longo and her husband Paolo, and John D. Lovallo, as well as his devoted nieces and nephews, Maria Laina Sileo, Frank Sileo, Thea Lovallo Smith (Jason), Cassandra Lovallo Halloran (Sean), Jon Lovallo (Jennifer), Carmel Lovallo Bellarosa (Jeremy), Joseph Lovallo, Alexandra Lovallo Duvall (Robert) and Ethan Lovallo and his great nieces and nephews Carli, Francesca and Lucas Sileo, Jade, Nicolas, Fiona and Derek Lovallo, Harlow, Teague and Rhys Halloran, and Archer Duvall. He could always be found rooting for them at their activities, be it baseball, basketball, softball, hockey, cheer, dance recitals, and many others. Rocky was known and loved by cousins, friends, many in the PC community.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Thursday October 3, 2019 at Parish of St. John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
