Rosalie "Sally" D (Diego) Acosta

Rosalie "Sally" D. Acosta, 73, a longtime resident of Port Chester died February 6, 2021. She was born November 20, 1947 in the Philippines to the late Teofilo B. Diego, Sr. and Consuelo C. Castro Diego. She was raised and educated in the Philippines and graduated from nursing school. She immigrated to the United States in 1973.  Mrs. Acosta was a registered nurse at United Hospital in Port Chester for many years and was also a registered nurse at King Street Nursing Home in Rye Brook.  She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester. Mrs. Acosta is survived by her beloved  husband Elpidio Acosta of New Rochelle,  her devoted children Shelia Espejo and her husband Cristian of New Rochelle, Ashley Acosta and his wife Oneida of Port Chester and David Acosta of New Rochelle, grandchildren Ariana and Ashton Acosta, brothers and sisters Teofilo Diego, Jr., Rodolfo Diego, Gloria Bahia and Consuelo Ringor. She was predeceased by her brothers Badwin, Edgar and Rogelio Diego.
A memorial mass will be announced at a later date. There will be no visitation.
