Salvatore Neri

Salvatore P. Neri, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died on July 24, 2023. He was born April 17, 1930 in Port
Chester, New York to the late Paulo Neri and Domenica Neri. He is predeceased by his brother Rocco Neri and his
wife Josephine Neri; brother Anthony Neri and his wife Theresa Neri. As well as living half-brother Rocco and sisters Deloris, Margarita, and Gloria also predeceased half-sister Fortunata and half-brothers Dominick and Michael Neri. Salvatore was raised and educated in Villa San Giuseppe of Reggio Calabria, Italy. He returned to the United States at the age 20 where Salvatore started as a barber and later owned his own business, Sal’s Stationary Store in Port Chester, NY.
Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife Lina Neri and his children Paul Neri and wife Argie Neri of Glen head, NY,;
Beatrice Neri-Fingold and husband Michael Fingold of Port Chester, NY,; Alba Giuliano and husband Scott Giuliano of Rye Brook, NY,; and Judy Jagodzinski and husband Steve Jagodzinski of Stamford, CT. Also his 11 loving
grandchildren Salvatore Neri, Stephanie Neri, Katherine Neri, Samantha Fingold, Jonathan Fingold, Robert Giuliano, Matthew Giuliano, Thomas Giuliano, Julia Jagodzinski, Lisa Jagodzinski, and Steven Jagodzinski.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday July 27, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be
9:30am on Friday July 28, 2023 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy Church) 360 Westchester Ave.
Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
