Stephen Numme

Stephen Numme, 69, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died January 21, 2026. He was born June 5, 1956 in Port Chester to Rina Zimbolatti Numme and the late Knute Numme.  He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1974.   Stephen was a self employed cab driver. He was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester. 

Stephen was an avid sports fan, a walking encyclopedia of all things, and spoke several languages. He was beloved by so many as he had the biggest heart and a very kind soul. A master storyteller who was also the funniest person in the room, his magnetic personality just made you love him.

 Stephen is survived by his beloved mother Rina Numme of Rye Brook, NY., his son Stephen Numme, Jr. and his wife Yolanda of Greenwich, Ct., his partner Marilu Montanez of Port Chester, NY.,  his sister Pamela Numme and her partner Diana Pannullo of Greenwich, Ct., brother Christopher Numme and his girlfriend Gina Furano of Greenwich, Ct. and grandchildren Cassandra Numme and Stephen Numme.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM on Thursday January 29, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. There will be no visitation.
