Steven W Dorazio

Steven W. Dorazio, 62, a resident of Mahopac, NY and formerly of Port Chester, NY died October 21, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 12, 1960 in Port Chester to the late Fabian and Florence Grapsky Dorazio.  He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1978.  Steven was married on October 11, 1986 at Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY to Laura Black.  He was the owner of Dazco Heating and Air Conditioning Corp. in Port Chester, NY.

Steve was an avid hunter, loved spending time in the Catskill Mountains, and lived for an adventure. Only the love he had for his family could outshine his love for the great outdoors. Although he was taken too soon, he made sure to live life to the fullest and always came home with endless tales of his incredible journeys. He often described himself as “dynamite”, and he was right.

He is survived by his beloved wife Laura L. Dorazio of Mahopac, NY., his beloved children Steven W Dorazio, Jr. and his wife Julie of Danbury, CT., Corrie L. Dorazio of Mahopac, NY., Alissa A. Fay and her husband Timothy of Dover Plains, NY., Jesse J. Dorazio and his wife Grace of Ossining, NY. and April D. Dorazio of Mahopac, NY., grandchildren Lila Dorazio and Adam Dorazio, brothers Fabian "Chipper" Dorazio and his wife Flor of Port Chester, NY., and Philip Dorazio and his wife Nicole of Port Chester, NY., Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother John Dorazio.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday October 27, 2023 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM Saturday October 28, 2023  at the Church of the Resurrection 910 Boston Post Road Rye, NY., Entombment to follow at  Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
