Svetko Ivanov

Svetko Ivanov, 75, a resident of Port Chester died December 7, 2021. He was born October 13, 1946 in Poljana, Croatia to the late Mate and Stefa Ivanov. He was raised and educated in Croatia and immigrated to the United States in 1969.  Mr. Ivanov was married to Ljiljana Lustica on March 1, 1969 in Croatia.  He was a retired electrician and general contractor.  He was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.  Mr. Ivanov is survived by his devoted wife Ljiljana Ivanov of Port Chester, NY., beloved daughters Veronica Celentano and her husband Tony of West Harrison, NY., Sandra Giafardino and her husband John of Norwalk, Ct. and Lorena Ivanov and her husband Marcelo Molina, Sr. of Norwalk, Ct., sisters Nevenka Hromin and Neda Grdovic both of Croatia, dear grandchildren Juliana Celentano, Jenna Celentano, Luke Giafardino, Emma Giafardino and Marcelo Molina, Jr.  He was predeceased by his dear granddaughter Izabela Molina.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM on Friday December 10, 2021 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment is private. There will be no visitation.
