Teresa Hope DiNardo, 95, of Port Chester, NY, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026.
Born on February 7, 1931, in the Bronx, NY, to the late Mario and Rose Bottari Perugini, Teresa was raised and educated in the Bronx, where she graduated from high school. From an early age, she possessed the strength, determination, and unmistakable spirit that would carry her through 95 remarkable years.
Teresa built a successful career in New York City’s garment district as a fashion executive and retail manager before proudly becoming a business owner. She later opened Andrea’s Clothesline in Port Chester, where her sharp eye for style and strong business sense made a lasting impact in the community.
Teresa was strong-willed, opinionated, and unapologetically herself. She never hesitated to speak her mind and always stood firmly by what she believed. That stubborn streak was matched only by her fierce love for her family. She remained devoted and protective of those she loved right through the very end, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and unwavering loyalty.
She was a proud member of the Byram Veterans, the Port Chester American Legion, and the Tiffin Motor Club, and valued the friendships and connections she made throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Paul Smart and Harry DiNardo.
Teresa is survived by her daughter Rosemarie Figueroa, granddaughters Andrea Figueroa, Alaina Figueroa and Alexis Figueroa, great grandson Kane Restel and great granddaughter Isabel Restel, great great grandson Lucas Valencia, great great granddaughters Violet Restel, Emily Valencia and Alice Restel.
Teresa’s strength, humor, and enduring love will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of her family.
