Thomas A. Rossi, 79, a resident of Port Chester and formerly of the Bronx passed away November 7, 2022 after battling a short illness. Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle, mentor and friend. He was born July 9, 1943 in the Bronx, NY to the late Fiore and Mary Verna Rossi. He was raised and educated in the Bronx and then graduated from Fordham University School of Pharmacy in 1966.
Thomas was co-owner and President of Liscio Pharmacy in the Bronx, and was a pharmacist for 55 years.
He was married to Gloria Latronica on June 7, 1970 at Saint Lucy's Church in the Bronx. Gloria passed away on November 28, 2021. Thomas was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY., a member of the Knights of Columbus in the Bronx, and a member of the Fordham University Alumni Association. He was an avid American history buff, a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, Rangers and Giants, and also Penn State.
He is survived by his devoted daughters Elizabeth Rossi of Greenwich, CT., and Lauren Rossi Burt and her husband Christopher of Port Chester, NY., his beloved grandchildren Harrison Burt and Amelia Burt. He is also survived by his brother George Rossi of Sagaponack, NY, sister-in law Rose Rossi and niece Nina Rossi of the Bronx, NY
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday November 11, 2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc 40 Leicester Street Port
Chester. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Church of the Resurrection 910 Post Road Rye, NY. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery 280 Secor Road Hartsdale, NY.
