Victor P. Gallo “Junior”, 87, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, NY died September 29, 2021. He was born February 27, 1934 in Port Chester to the late Victor and Mary (Masterboni) Gallo. Mr. Gallo was raised and educated in Port Chester and attended Port Chester High School. He served proudly in the United States Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean Conflict. Victor was married to his loving wife Lorelei (Mulinare) for 61 years. Mr. Gallo owned and operated a J.J. Cassone bread distribution route for 35 years.
Mr. Gallo loved his family above all else and enjoyed many meals at home with his children and grandchildren who visited him often.
Mr. Gallo and Mrs. Gallo enjoyed going to the Foxwood and Mohegan Sun casinos in CT and he enjoyed watching the trotters at Yonkers Raceway. He also enjoyed leisurely strolls at Playland Pier and Oakland Beach.
Mr. Gallo was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching golf, as well as football, and baseball games on television. He favored the Giants and Yankees.
Mr. Gallo is survived by his devoted wife Lorelei Gallo of Port Chester, NY, his beloved children Maryann Hayduk and her husband Tom of Trumbull, CT, Linda Prescott and her husband Bob of New Bern, NC, and Steven Gallo and his wife Jamie of West Hollywood, CA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Christopher Prescott, Jessica Hayduk, Ryan Prescott,TJ Hayduk, Kendall Gallo and Ansley Gallo, his sister Jeannette Viggiano and her husband Larry of Port Chester, NY, and sister-in-law Millie Gallo of Port Chester, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Gallo “Sonny”.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
