Vincent Sergi

Vincent Sergi, 75, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died June 13, 2024. He was born May 9, 1949 in Villa, San Giovanni, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Santina Sergi.  He was raised and educated in Italy.

In 1967 he immigrated to Canada. Shortly thereafter he moved to the United States and settled in New York. Mr. Sergi was married to Francesca Nostro on October 20, 1974 at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester, NY.

He started his own business Westchester Steel Fabricators and became a significant competitor within New York City and the surrounding areas.  After the events of September 11, he shut down his operations and joined Breton Steel as their vice president of business development and technical office.

  Mr. Sergi was a devoted parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester and a member of the Centro Culturale Italiano Club where he was named man of the year in 2008.

He is survived by his beloved wife Francesca Sergi and his daughter Santina Sergi both of Port Chester, NY.  He is also survived by his brother Antonio of Italy and sisters Ippolita and Grazia  both of Italy.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Pina and Paola.

A memorial gathering will be held 4-8PM on Monday June 24, 2024 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM on Tuesday June 25, 2024  at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY.

Interment is private.
