Vita Jean Camillo (Jean), a lifelong resident of Port Chester, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2020 at the remarkable age of 108. Jean’s zest for life was displayed through her vibrant personality and her love of dancing, romance novels, cooking and socializing. She was a dedicated Catholic and a lifelong parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester. Jean was born August 16, 1911 in Port Chester to the late Nicole and Carolina Sileo Carlucci. She was raised and educated in Port Chester and was married on June 6, 1936 at Holy Rosary Church to Anthony J. Camillo. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shirley S. Camillo, son-in-law Allan J. MacDonald, grandchildren, Anthony J. Camillo, DMD, Francis X. Camillo, MD, Joseph A. Camillo Jr., Esq., Holly Diamond, Esq., Heather J. Menzel, Sean MacDonald and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Camillo, son Joseph A. Camillo, DDS, daughter Anne-Racine MacDonald, brothers Joseph, Angelo, Dominick, Salvatore and William Carlucci, sisters, Mary DeBona, Elizabeth Carlucci and Katherine Bellantoni.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
