William E Castro

William E. Castro, 78, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died unexpectedly on June 15, 2024.  He was born October 5, 1945 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Dionisio Castro and Blanca Pino. He was raised and educated in Ecuador.  Mr. Castro was married to Carmen Vaca on November 19, 1978 in Port Chester.  William was an assembler for many years for E E Controls in Brewster, NY. William is survived by his beloved wife Carmen Castro, devoted children Henry V. Castro and his wife Audra Castro, Martha Castro and her husband Kelvin Valenzuela and Mayra Castro, grandchildren Isiah Castro, Anyia Castro, Gabriel Castro, Kaiden Valenzuela, Mason Valenzuela and Maddie Rose Estevez. William is also survived by his brother Angel Castro and sister Aurora Marin. If there was one other thing William loved besides his amazing family and friends, it was his love and passion for Futbol (aka Soccer), from playing the sport as a young man to being glued to the TV for every  game at any time, it's an understatement to say he was an avid fanatic. 

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Sunday June 30, 2024at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Monday July 1, 2024 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
