William P Marino

William P. Marino, 92, a resident of Old Lyme, Ct. and formerly of Port Chester, NY died April 1, 2025. He was born December 13, 1932 in Port Chester, NY to the late Rocco and Jennie Telesca Marino.  He was was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Arch Bishop Stepinac High School in 1950. He graduated from Airconditioning Training School in Youngtown, OH.

William was married to Cosimina "Gussie" Cardillo on October 6, 1956 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester, NY. Mrs. Marino died August 21, 2016. He served in the United States Army in Korea during the Korean War. He was a corporal and received the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Service Star.

He was a retired steamfitter with Local 21 having worked for the Carrier Corporation.

William was a parishioner of the Christ the King Church in Old Lyme, Ct.  He was also a member of the Elks Club, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the Port Chester Yacht Club.

He is survived by his children Christopher and Susan Marino, Beatrice and David McLucas, Colette and Brien Strizzi, William and Shelia Marino and Clement Marino and Janette Kaddo Marino, grandchildren Jessica Marino, Emily Marino, Connor McLucas, Patrick McLucas, Jenna Strizzi and husband Manuel Ferrando Caro, Alyssa Strizzi and husband Toby Johnson, Nicolette Strizzi and husband Jason Uihlein, Deidre Marino, Abigail Marino, Danielle Marino and Adam Marino and great granddaughter Luna Ferrando Strizzi.

Besides his wife he was predeceased by his brothers Paul Marino, Albert Marino and John Marino.

Visitation will be 4-7PM on Friday April 4, 2025 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Saturday April 5, 2025. at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY.  Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
