William A Summa

William A. Summa, a longtime resident of Rye Brook, NY died peacefully at home on December 29, 2023.  He was 97 and was born May 13, 1926 in Port Chester to the late Anthony and Lucy Telesca Summa.  He was raised and educated in Port Chester and served in the United States Navy during World War II.  He was married June 27, 1948 to Marie Carlucci at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester. Mrs. Summa died February 2, 2022.  He was a retired employee for the Village of Port Chester having retired as a Sanitation Foreman.

He was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.

Mr. Summa is survived by his daughter Lucy Gregor and her husband Robert of Agawam, MA., grandchildren Mark Gregor, Derrick Gregor and his wife Tara, Trevor Gregor and his wife Becky, Adrienne Summa amd Kristen Summa, great grandchildren Cody Gregor, Bryce Gregor, Weston Gregor and Tyler Gregor.

Besides his wife he was predeceased by his son Anthony J. Summa and brothers Salvatore, Angelo, James, Joseph and Daniel Summa and sisters Marie Sanna, Carmella Palmasisano, Jennie Grandazzo, Katherine Carlucci and Anna Yankowski.

Visitation will be 9:30AM to 10:15AM on Tuesday January 2, 2024 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
