William "Billy" F Stager

William F. "Billy" Stager, 74, a resident of Rye Brook, NY passed away February 1, 2022. He was born December 18, 1947, in Port Chester to the late Carl and Edna Rabbitt Stager. Billy was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1965. He was married on June 9, 1989, at North Baptist Church in Port Chester to Barbara Westerman.  Billy was the manager at Wallauer Paint and Wallpaper Store in Port Chester until his retirement. 
 
Billy was the type of man who always had a smile on his face. If you were in his company, you’d be sure to laugh. He had such a profound way of making others feel loved. He lived his life with an abundance of kindness and humor. He loved animals, horse back riding and traveling with his family. So much joy in his life came from his daughter and his wife. His greatest accomplishment was loving them unconditionally.
 
He is survived by his devoted wife Barbara Stager of Rye Brook, NY., and his beloved daughter Brooke Stager Korevec and her husband Michael of Stamford, CT., and sisters Jane Bonell of Port Chester, NY., and Judy DiMiceli of Mamaroneck, NY.
 
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday February 7, 2022, at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Tuesday February 8, 2022, at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery North St. Rye, NY.
