Zofia Rebisz

Zofia Rebisz, 89, a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY died December 5, 2024. She was born July 30, 1935 in Poland to the late Jozef and Anastazja Staszuk Korzeniewski. She was raised and educated in Poland.  After immigrating to the United States she settled in Port Chester. She was married at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester where she was a longtime parishioner to Boguslaw Rebisz. Mr. Rebisz died August 2, 2021.

Mrs. Rebisz was an employee of the R.B. & W. Company in Port Chester and then was a longtime employee of the Lifesavers Company in Port Chester.

Mrs. Rebisz is survived by her beloved son George Rebisz of Ossining, NY., grandchildren Cassi Duplessis, Erica Rebisz and Michael Rebisz and great grandson Caleb Duplessis.  Also surviving are brothers Edek Korzeniewska of London, England and Kazik Korzeniewska of Montreal, Canada, sister Jadza Klim of London, England.

Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday December 16, 2024 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery North St. Greenwich, CT
