Anne (Vita) Violante

Anne P. Violante, 92, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died November 19, 2015. She was born November 22, 1922 in Port Chester to the late Joseph and Pauline Tuzzo Vita. She was raised and educated in Port Chester. She was married April 18, 1948 at Holy Rosary Church to Joseph Violante.  Mrs. Violante was a retired employee of the Marriot Corporation.  She was a parishioner of the Holy Rosary Church and a member of the St. Ann’s Sodality.  She is survived by her beloved children, Joseph Violante, Jr. (Barbara) of Chicago, IL., Antoinette O’Neill (Michael) of Port Chester, NY. and Anne Mangiamele (Vincent) of Pawling, NY., grandchildren Lisa Mangiamele (Brian Eastwood), Michael O’Neill (Steffany), Joseph O’Neill, Theresa Rhea (Mark), Martha Violante, Sara Violante, Laura Violante, and Nora Violante, great grandchildren Holly O’Neill, MJ O’Neill, Brennan Rhea, Landon Rhea and Hadley Rhea. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother Michael Vita and sisters Sadie Vita and Bessie Mediatore. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Sunday November 22, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be 12 Noon on Monday November 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
