Carmela "Franca" (D'Agostino) Rende

Carmela “Franca” Rende, 70, a resident of Port Chester died August 19, 2016. She was born September 7, 1945 in San Fili, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Angela D’Agostino.  She was raised and educated in Italy. Mrs. Rende was married September 27, 1963 in Italy to Michael Rende.  Mr. Rende died September 11, 2009.  Mrs. Rende was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Emily Rende of Harrison and Michele Rende of Port Chester, granddaughter Jessica Santorsola, sister Anna Cava of San Fili, Italy and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband she is predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY. There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made to Gilda’s Club 80 Maple Ave. White Plains, NY 10601
