Edward Francis Logan, 85, of Naugatuck, CT., passed away on Wednesday morning April 20, 1916 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Margaret T. (Fitzgerald) Logan, who passed November 19, 2012, after 55 years of marriage.  Mr. Logan was born in Greenwich, CT., Dec. 3, 1930, a son of the late John and Theresa (Keller) Logan and was a graduate of Rye High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1949 serving during the Korean War. Following basic training in Great Lakes, IL. He was stationed aboard the USS Des Moines (CA-134) and the USS Roanoke (CL-145) being discharged in 1953 as a Fireman 1-C. He was a retired employee with Williamson Transportation Co., retiring after many years of service. He had been a Naugatuck resident for the past 19 years, moving here from Port Chester, NY. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck.  He leaves 3 daughters, Debra A. Logan of Stamford, CT., Laurie A. Logan and Kelly F. Coddington both of Naugatuck, one brother John Logan of Texas, 4 grandchildren, Lauren Kaloidis and her husband Vasi of Waterbury, CT., Tara Lyons, Sean Lyons and Judith Coddington all of Naugatuck, CT.  He was predeceased by one daughter Judith M. Logan.  Visitation will be 5-8PM on Friday April 22, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday April 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Pl. Memphis, TN. 38105
