Josephine "Mema" C (Olszewski) Ritacco

Josephine “Mema” C. Ritacco, a resident of Stamford, Ct.  and formerly of Catskill, NY and Port Chester, NY died January 5, 2017. She was born October 17, 1920 in Port Chester to the late Felix and Sophie Navakofszki Olszewski.  She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School.  She was married to the late James Ritacco who died January 5, 1995.  Mrs. Ritacco was a homemaker and a parishioner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and Sunday drives with her family, as well as bingo with her friends and chatting with neighbors on the porch.  Mrs. Ritacco is survived by her son James Ritacco, Jr. and wife Jody of Guilford, Ct. and daughter Joan Legutko and husband Walter of Stamford, Ct. grandchildren Tracy Ritacco, Jessica Coston and husband Seth, Sr., Valerie Legutko and Steven Legutko, great grandchild Seth Coston, Jr.
Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers John, Louis and Stephan Olszewski and sister Helen Mariano. Visitation will be 10:00AM-11:00AM on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:30AM.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stamford EMS 684 Long Ridge Rd.
