Nicholena "Nicky" B (Briganti) Patafio

Nicholena “Nicky” B. Patafio, 78, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died peacefully February 22, 2016. She was born June 16, 1937 to the late Anthony and Mary Briganti. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1955.  She was the widow of Umberto Patafio who died February 25, 1996.  Mrs. Patafio was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Mercy Church. Nicky adored animals and enjoyed crafting and crocheting afghans and baby blankets for friends and family. Later in life she loved spending time with her good friend Maria Giannios and her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter Stephanie Patafio of Brooklyn, NY and her brother Anthony Briganti, his wife Nanci and daughter Katherine of Port Chester.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday February 25, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday February 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Patafio may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
