Salvatore Caputo

Salvatore Caputo, 71, a resident of Port Chester died July 22, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born November 12, 1943 to the late Rocco and Concetta Pennetta Caputo in Morra, De Sanctis, Italy. He was married on December 26, 1965 in Italy to Concetta Delfico. Mr. Caputo immigrated to the United States in 1961 settling in Port Chester. He was a retired landscaper. He was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church. Mr. Caputo was also a member of the St. Roch’s Church Societa San Rocco Di Morra De Sanctis, the IAPA of Port Chester and the Port Chester Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his beloved wife Concetta Caputo of Port Chester, devoted children Rocco Caputo and wife Renee of Waxhaw, NC., and Tina Allmashy and husband Stephen of Danbury, Ct. grandchildren Rebecca, Rachel and Michael Caputo and Angelica and Alex Allmashy, brother Frank Caputo and wife Vincenza of Rye Brook, NY., mother-in-law Rosa Delfico of Port Chester and 6 nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9PM today Friday July 24, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00AM on Saturday July 25, 2015 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
