Walter S Hanulik

Walter S. Hanulik, 91, of Port Chester, NY passed away peacefully on February 9, 2017 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. Walter was born September 2, 1925 in Greenwich, CT to the late Joseph and Maria (Koshina) Hanulik. He had lived in Port Chester since 1958. He retired from Sheet Metal Workers Local #38 in 1992 and was still a member in good standing in the local at the time of his death.  He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester since 1958. He is survived by his three children, Linda and her husband Stephen Warren of Mesa, AZ, Richard and his wife Lynn of Wilton, CT and Christopher and his wife Graceann of Sandy Hook, CT. Also surviving are five grandchildren Lauren and Victoria Hanulik; and Geoffrey, Kiel and Erik Warren as well as four great grandchildren Elianne, Kate, Rosalind and Andrew Warren and a niece and four nephews.  Walter was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Roberta (Hallock) who passed away on May 30, 1998. at the age of 70.  He was also predeceased by two brothers George and Donald and two sisters, Anne Maloney and Josephine Aloisi. Also predeceasing him was a grandson, Daniel Warren.  Visitation will be 3-6PM on Thursday February 16, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM on Friday February 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Greenwich, CT.
